2014 Entry –  Mayan Light & Music Show

Stone: Blue green Guatemalan Jade

Description: 3 note ocarina with sterling silver inlay, and yellow Serpentine finger hole inlay.  The head is Quetzacoatal with a protruding tongue of purple red sapphire (note: the sapphire was intentionally left rough to give it texture and contrast to the rest of the piece).  The head has been hollowed out to allow a battery operated led light to be placed inside so that it shines out through the tongue and face.
