I have been working with Jade for about a year now and I have really taken to it! What I have seen created just amazes me and I enjoy every moment I spend working with Jade. 

I chose this design to push myself to new areas with Jade and Carving in general. With this piece I finally learned how to finish Jade and discovered just how far you can push Jade to achieve the desired look. 

I wanted to stay away from traditional Jewellery and my wife just happened to ask me for a hair pin around the same time so the design came together quickly. The effect of the chain also gives a sense of movement when wearing it.
